Hope you’re enjoying the new ShakeItPhoto 2.0! We’re so excited about the new Official Polaroid option. It’s been a while in the making and we’re happy to hear that so many of you are really liking the Polaroid look!

To celebrate the release of 2.0, we’re doing a contest. It will be similar to the Banana Camera Co contests that we’ve done in the past. In case you haven’t been apart of those, here are the details:

Theme

Reminiscent. (Be creative as you want! There are no rules!)

Submit

Enter your ShakeItPhotos into the Banana Camera Co Contest Flickr group. You may post up to one photo per day for the duration of the contest. The contest begins April 25th and ends May 2nd.

For this contest, please use only the new Polaroid ShakeItPhoto look (update if you haven’t already). You may use other apps in addition to SIP, but SIP must be used (obviously).

Winner

The winner and winning entry will be posted and announced on the Banana Camera Co blog, Twitter, Facebook, and Flickr within a few days of the contest’s close. We will include your website/blog, Twitter info, etc., so be sure it’s on your Flickr profile (or email it to me) if you’re interested in having us share that info. (I will also post some Honorable Mentions.)

If you want to, Tweet your entry in the contest (using the link to your photo/entry in the Flickr Group) and mention @BananaCameraCo. We love to see and RT the contest entries!

Theme: Close Ups
Rules: Post an entry (up to once a day) into the Flickr group Banana Camera Co Contest (it’s the same group we used for the last contest. All entries before 10/20 will not be used in the contest) and make sure to use ShakeItPhoto and/or Cross Process. You can Tweet out your entry by posting the link of your entry in the flickr group and including “My entry into the @BananaCameraCo contest” (use whatever hashtags you’d like) and be sure you’re following @BananaCameraCo for news about the apps and the contest The winner of the Banana Camera Company Close Up Contest will get a special winner’s feature on the blog. So let’s see those photos!!

Rules

1. Post your self-portraits in the Banana Camera Co Contest Flickr Group. You can post up to one photo a day for each day of the contest (8 days. Contest will be closed Thursday, September 16th at 9am CST). You must use Cross Process or ShakeItPhoto. You can post with different Cross Process “looks” (e.g. blue, red, extreme) or post only ShakeItPhotos, doesn’t matter.

2. Twitter out a link to your Flickr contest entries by copy and pasting this: I just entered the @BananaCameraCo contest to win an iPod Touch: url. (Just replace the url with the url to your pic.) You can add #iphoneography or #shakeitphoto or whatever hashtags you’d like.

3. Follow @BananaCameraCo on Twitter for updates and news. We will be announcing the winner via Twitter. Also check out BananaCameraCo.com. We’ll be posting stuff here.

Finalists will be chosen by Banana Camera Company and will be featured on BananaCameraCo.com. The winner will be announced a couple days after the contests end.

Details

Employees of Banana Camera Co and their relatives can enter but are not eligible to win.

*Winner receives an Apple gift card in the amount of $300(USD) to use toward an iPod Touch 32G or whatever else he/she wants to buy with it at Apple. Use it toward it an iPhone, a laptop, accessories, or give it to your mom for Christmas.
